The Dremel rotary tool works fine, however I've never gotten the flexible extension hand tool to work correctly; sometimes it spins, sometimes it doesn't.I do find that the grinding and sanding discs break easily and it's no fun to run out of them in the middle of a project. This is a great tool for small projects/hobbies, however I can't recommend it for anything else.
You can do anything with this, probably will do it wrong , but keep trying.
I did work it hard though. My only concern is that I felt it should have lasted a little longer than it did, before the bearings gave out. This tool has great versatility and performance. I was able to do tasks I used to do with high priced pneumatic tools, as a tool & die maker.
Drive unit is a bit noisier than I'd hoped but not worse than typical power tools. Drive unit looks well made, brushes for motor are replaceable. If you set it up with care and creativity you should be able to buff, sand or grind just about any small surface.
Nice assortment of accessories. Also can use this device to trim dog nails, but my dog hates the noise. Good value; key item versus some cheaper kits is the extension flexible shaft.
With enough repetition and some kibbles he will learn to love it too. Nice carrying case, with spots to organize many of the accessories.Dremel 3956-02 MultiPro Super 1.15 Amp 5,000 to 35,000 RPM Variable Speed Rotary Tool with 77 Accessories The lawnmower blade sharpener guide would likely work on a powered mower, but not my old reel type push mower.
With a steady hand and light touch I did sharpen my mower freehand and it cuts well again.
I would recommend this to friends. The seller got the item too us in a timely fashion, andit arrived in excellent condition. My husband has gotten more than his money's worth out of this. It works well, and is very veratile.
